Nashawn will be a panelist for the Uplifting Ladies: A Week of Empowerment for the Black Women Conference located at Howard University. The topic is called "Decide: As more women become career oriented, has the housewife become obsolete? The basis of the conference is to reveal the opposing roles of women as home makers and career women. Many women reach a time in their lives where they must choose whether to work full-time with a career or focus solely on caring for their families. The discussion will highlight the pros and cons of each role and the difficulties women face when deciding how to raise their families.
